Pay for the relay, not for the wire between you.

Most transfers go straight from one browser to another and cost us nothing to carry. Plans differ in how many transfers you make, how many people share a workspace, and how much traffic may fall back to our relay when a direct connection isn’t possible.

What counts as relay traffic

When two browsers can’t reach each other directly, for example behind strict company firewalls, the encrypted stream passes through our relay. The relay server measures those bytes. Direct transfers are never metered.

When you reach a limit

New transfers are refused with a clear message until the next month starts or you change plan. Connections that are already open keep running.
